jimMemberUsing the map widget and the example code works very well. However I really need zoom controls so people using the map can zoom in and out. Without a zoom control if you tap the map, it will zoom in ok but there’s no way to zoom back out. At least in android.
Has anyone else using the MobiOne map widget figured a way to do this ? The examples of using Google Maps outside of MobiOne might work but I’d like to stay within the MobiOne widget if possible.
Thanks,
Jim
support-michaelKeymasterHere is some background on how the Google Maps api provides zoom controls

jimMemberSo it appears all I needed to do was to click the default controls box on the map widget ! I can’t believe this problem that has been driving me completely nuts had such a simple solution. I was trying all kinds of mad javascript experiments late into the night all last week !
When the test center cloud server starts sending email download links again, I’ll give it a try and post if it works. I sent a “publish as a mobile web application” link to my phone and actually saw the + and – zoom controls. Can’t wait to try an actual install.
Thank you very much Wayne ! Especially on a Sunday night.
jimMemberIt seems the test center cloud servers work in the early morning hours. So this morning I was able to install the app on my phone and I now have zoom controls !!! This is really critical for my app and many people will appreciate having that zoom.
Thanks again Wayne,
Jim
