    when i got lombon301 together to myEclpse3.8.3ga,then start tomcat5.0.18 from lomboz J2EE view,
    a wrong massage:
    Error occurred during initialization of VM
    java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object

    my step is:
    1 create a lomboz j2ee project
    2 click myeclipse/add WebProject Capabilitise…

    if i donot create lomboz project ,but i create a web project
    then all is ok;

    thanx

    We don’t provide support for Lomboz mixed with MyEclipse, please just use MyEclipse or just Lomboz. I have no idea how Lomboz launches an application server or why it would be throwing an exception.

    what is a pity!!
    i think the best advantage of lomboz is debug jsp file step by step.

    thanx very much!!

    Yes, MyEclipse has supported this for quite a while now. Please check out “JSP Debugging” here: http://myeclipseide.com/enterpriseworkbench/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.genuitec.myeclipse.doc/html/quickstarts/webprojects/index.html
