unable to load json schemas

    Hi,

    When behind my organization’s firewall, CodeMix won’t load any json schemas. I have a proxy configured in eclipse, so everything else uses that and is functional. I can create a new Angular project and use Terminal+ with no issues.

    Only certain CodeMix-specific http requests aren’t sent to the proxy. I first noticed it in the json files, all of which have warnings stating they were unable to retrieve their respecitve schemas. And then when I tried to start this chat, I was unable to connect. Going outside the firewall is the only way I could get these features working again.

    Is there a way to configure a proxy for the CodeMix engine itself?

    I’ve raised a problem report for this, as the eclipse setting should be being picked up but isn’t. Alternatively, you can configure the proxy in the CodeMix settings.

    Go to Window>Preferences>CodeMix>Settings>Workspace Settings then filter on “proxy”. Click on the value column for http.proxy and type in the proxy address (for example http://1.2.3.4:80), then click the Apply and Close button.

    I could’ve sworn I’d already looked for http.proxy where you suggested and came up empty!

    But as per your instructions, I found http.proxy. After setting it, the rest of CodeMix’s features are now working from behind the firewall as expected.
