dav-oa4uParticipantPlayStor indicates that our APK not meet certain specifications:
“Design your app for the tablet
Your APK production must meet the following criteria:
The Android versions must support the minimum and target tablet (check targetSdkVersion and minSdkVersion). ”How can we change these values to allow the tablet to download our APK?
Can anyone help me or show me how to get an answer?
Thanks
support-octavioMemberHi davide-oa4u,
Please share next info in order to have a better understanding of the issue:
1) Mobione version.
2) Cordova version.
3) Screenshot from Playstore with error message.
dav-oa4uParticipantHello Octavio
thanks for reply. I am attaching a screen shot of your requests. I hope I have attached the right information.

Code_AMemberAll of my apps on Google Play report the same message even though I select the ‘Universal’ option when building my apk. Do I need to do something different when building the app to make it meet the tablet requirements?
Here is the message:
Design your app for 10-inch tablets.
You uploaded screenshots for 10-inch tablets, but your APK does not seem to be designed for 10-inch tablets.
Here is the fix:
Your Production APK needs to meet the following criteria:
The minimum Android version and target Android version need to support tablets (check targetSdkVersion and minSdkVersion).
Seems to be the same issue as reported above. Is there a fix?
Code_AMemberAny update on this? Just wanting to know if this is something I need to fix on my end.
Thanks.
support-octavioMember@davide-oa4u, @Code A,
I have consulted the dev team. As Aleksey said on this topic, these are warnings and not errors, your apps should be delivered to end users without problems. We ran a test again and app was published and downloaded on tablet even though we see the warning.

@Octavio, thank you for looking into this issue.I understand your comments, but my concern is more about visibility of the apps in the Google Play store. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that one of the criteria for displaying apps in the store is based on compatibility with the device that is searching the store. And since Google is stating that these apps are not designed for 7″ and 10″ tablets, then my apps (and others form M1) will not show up (at least not high on the list) when the user is searching by tablet.
I have the same apps published in the Apple store and on Google Play and I get a lot more downloads from the App store and many of them are from tablets. This could be completely unrelated and total coincidence, but it makes me wonder…
