My log seems to be littered with StackOverflowErrors. Is this a known problem or is it just my setup? I’m using 3.8.1 quick fix 3 in windows XP.

Mike,
This is a known problem with the validation. Do you have all the validators activated out of curiosity? (Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > Validation)

We are doing profiling and bug fixes now to have 3.8.2 out in a few weeks (~3) to correct some of these shortcommings.

Actually, I’ve never seen this particular validation error before. Looks like some sort of infinite loop condition. Mike, what are your validation settings? Does turning them off (particularly JSP) mitigate the problem? Could you be running out of memory also? Does the quickfix show it’s installed in the build id at Window > Preferences > MyEclipse?

I haven’t been able to duplicate the problem since I posted this…..I’ll keep my eyes on it though.
