Hi.
I’m having issues with Subversive plugin.
it is not correctly giving me the ability to edit conflicts.I have not been able to solve the problem so I am going to do a fresh reinstall of myeclipse.
It is 8.6 – Can I leave the old one in place or do I need to remove it?

Can you crosspost on subversion forums regarding the issue you are facing? Yes you can reinstall MyEclipse, you can either choose to reinstall the old one or create a fresh install of MyEclipse. I would recommend you use pulse.
1. Open Pulse(Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer or download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com)
2. Login to Pulse
3. Select Eclipse-Galileo realm from top left hand corner dropdown
4. In case you would like to re-install the existing ME 8.6, right click on MyEclipse 8.6 under My profiles and click on [re-install and run]
5. In case you would like to keep the copy of ME profile and create a new one afresh, expand and click on Ready to use Profiles > Popular
6. From the right hand pane, right click on MyEclipse 8.6 and click on [run]
7. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.
