Actually; this slows the console a lot… can you do better?

Tony,

When we installed this plugin, we were warned to increase the console buffer size or to uncheck the “Limit console output” option. Did you see this warning and update the settings accordingly? Does your console slow down immediately or does it get a bit slower over time – does it matter if the output isn’t colored?

I ask because we were unable to reproduce the slowdown at our end (even without the console buffer change) – but our investigation is still ongoing.
