John RamacciottiParticipantI have MyEclipse Bling 2014 running on Windows 7 (64 bit). I have Oracle WebLogic 12c (Dev version) installed too. I set up the WebLogic environment in ME>Preferences with the specific parameters for my WL domain. I am able to start WL with the Server view successfully. Here is the problem: If I start a new Dynamic Web Application and try to select Oracle WebLogic 12x as the target, Oracle isn’t listed. When I try to download a new environment, the download fails with missing dependencies. It then wants to Uninstall MyEclipse Blue.exe. After the update, my eclipse Bling is corrupted and I have to uninstall and reinstall. Has anyone seen this type of behavior ???
support-swapnaModeratorjpramac,
Sorry that you are seeing this issue.
Are you trying to add Weblogic runtime for target runtime when creating the project?
MyEclipse currently supports Tomcat,JBoss and Websphere runtimes only. I have filed an ER for the dev team to add support for Weblogic runtimes.
I am not clear on how you have tried to download a new environment where you see dependency issues. Please elaborate in detail the steps you followed to help us replicate the issue at our end. If possible, please attach a screenshot to help us get a visual. Also attach the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log to help us take a look.
John RamacciottiParticipantHello, Swapna,
I marked your posts with “>>”, please see my replies below:>>Are you trying to add Weblogic runtime for target runtime when creating the project?
Yes, I am creating a new “Dynamic Web Project” and selecting “New Runtime….” in the “Target runtime” section of the new project wizard.>>MyEclipse currently supports Tomcat,JBoss and Websphere runtimes only. I have filed an ER for the dev team to add support for Weblogic runtimes.
This project that I am working on will be deployed to a WebLogic container and we are utilizing the SSO provided by WebLogic, therefore I need to edit the “weblogic.xml” and the “web.xml” to configure SSO and group membership.>>I am not clear on how you have tried to download a new environment where you see dependency issues. I selected the “Download additional server adapters” link in the “New Server Runtime Environment” wizard. (I am adding screenshots with notes to this post). After selecting “Oracle WebLogic Server Tools” and “Next”, I get this error message: “Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

support-swapnaModeratorjpramac,
Thank you for the details and the screenshots.
Unfortunately there is a bug with incorrect JSF bundle version which is being hit when you are trying to download the environment. Even if the environment is installed, it will not reflect under the Runtimes.
I suggest you please wait for MyEclipse 2015 release which will support this feature.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Let us know if you have any questions.
