ejvyasMemberI find that this version does not work well in the case of Java code assist. Sometimes it just does not pop up
Loyal WaterMemberCould you give us more information on what file and editor you were working with when you ran into this issue.
Also, can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste them here for me.
opperpanterMemberI have the same issue. Just installed 7.0 GA:

ejvyasMemberYes I believe there are issues with Code Assist in 7.0 . Also, I cannot understand why I get errors while editing Spring config files. Of course, there will be errors before I finish typing!!
Loyal WaterMemberDoes the code assist problem persist in a new workspace as well?
nguyenttmMemberFix
1) Create a totally new workspace and import your existing project
P.S Remember check “Copy projects into workspace” to copy all your exisiting work to new workspace.
2) Go Preferences>Java>Editor>Content Assist>Advanced
P.S Make sure “Other Java Proposals” is ticked
