We are using this IDE with the professional licence since 3 years,and from a few release as version 2014 and 2015,we are suffering,it’s so so slow,and he crush every 10 seconds,we try to use only basic editors,static reference,without autocomplete but the same result?? this issue affect our business deeply,for that,if there’s any solution??

Sorry that you are seeing issues with MyEclipse.
1. Are you working with any of the visual editors or any specific action at the time of the crash ? Do you have very large projects in your workspace?
2. Can you please try increasing the -Xmx value in the myeclipse.ini file which is located in the MyEclipse installation directory and see if it helps ? Try increasing the value by 100 each time and check if it helps.

4. Please start MyEclipse with -clean, switch to a new workspace and check if the issue persists. If yes then please send us the .log file which is located at

If possible please share the MyEclipse Installation Details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.If the IDE crashes even before you get to the MyEclipse Installation Details then please share the OS version details.

Thank you for the reply,
For the first question,I stopped using the visual editor since the version 2014,because it crush simultaneous,we are using the basic text editor.
Yes,we have a very large projects in the workspace.
About increasing the -Xmx in the .ini file,it was done,but MyEclipse behavior it’s the same,and you will find the .ini file and the installation detail in the attached file.
I have checked the performance issues in MyEclipse 2015 but nothing happened,
Since one month I start MyEclipse with -clean but it stay loading and blocked in the welcome panel page for 5 hours,for that,I delete and installed Myeclipse.
My OS version details: UBUNTU 14.04 LTS/Memory 7.7 GB/Intel® Core™ i7-3537U CPU @ 2.00GHz × 4 .
I’m waiting for your reply and I which that you will help me basing in this information,

Unfortunately the attachments didn’t come across. Can you please change the file extension to .txt and attach them again?
1. Do you still see issues starting MyEclipse with -clean even after the fresh installation ?
2. Can you please share with us the size of the workspace in MB ? Also share with us the .log file which is located at workspace dir/.metadata/.log for further investigation.

About the clean or the fresh installation is the same behaviour,we tryed many time before we will contact you,fresh intallation,clean myeclipse,change workspace,change configuration …………
The size of the workspace is 253M,and about the conf file and the detailed installation you will found in the attached file.Waiting for you reply,Thank you,

You have attached two files but both have the same contents (i.e myeclipse.ini).
Can you please try editing the myeclipse.ini file and decreasing the -Xms value ? Please set it to -Xms=128 instead of 512 and start the IDE. If it does not help, try reducing the value further till -Xms=16 and see if it helps.
If the issue persists, please copy paste the MyEclipse Installation Details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details here.
1. Can you please try closing the projects (right click on the project > Close Project) which you are currently not working, restart the IDE and see if it helps ?
2. Can you please clarify if you see the issue on a relatively smaller workspace ?
3. Please send us the .log file which is located at workspace dir/.metadata/.log for further investigation.

Our apologies about the comment on your attached files. The files you attached were, indeed, different but you only included partial information in the installation details. Please go to MyEclipse->Installation Summary->Installation Details, then click the “Copy to Clipboard” button and paste the contents into a new text file, to attach here. Please also mention the Linux distribution you are using (for example, Ubuntu, Lint, etc) and whether you’re running Linux in a virtual machine as that may be of help in trying to determine the problem.
Note that we have just released MyEclipse 2015 CI 13, which has a few performance fixes in it, so it might be worth updating your installation, if you’re on the CI stream, or installing CI 13 separately, to see if it helps.

I have decreased the -Xms but I faced this error, “java heap space”,and for the second ideia,I only have one project in my Workspace.
I have tried to create another workspace with a smaller project,it’s a little bit faster,but this cannot resolve my problem.About My OS version details: UBUNTU 14.04 LTS/Memory 7.7 GB/Intel® Core™ i7-3537U CPU @ 2.00GHz × 4,and it’s a phisical host,

Can you please update to CI 13 as suggested by Tony and check if the issue persists? Go to Help > Check for Updates and update to CI 13. Restart the IDE and check.
Can you please also try increasing the -Xmx value in the myeclipse.ini file and see if it makes any difference?
The log file is missing from your reply. Please change the extension of the file to .txt and attach it.

I have update MyEclipse to the new version,I’m steel testing !!! but I believe that many problems was resolved,since the update,it’s about three hour,Only one time MyEclipse crashed,Oh my God,it’s a great improvement, Now we can work without problems, but we steel waiting for the best,for that you will found the MyEclipse log in the attached file.

Glad that you are seeing improved performance with MyEclipse 2015 CI 13. I am afraid the .log file you sent us is an old one, dated 2015-02-03.
Please delete the contents of the .log file, replicate the issue i.e MyEclipse slowness/crash and send us the .log file for further investigation.
