Hi,

I need a tip on how to modify text.

Let me explain more :

I have inserted text in a text widget box and trying to edit the content so it looks presentable.

Thing is, I can only edit so far as the box will not scroll down any further?

Show I do edits like this in the html file instead?

I’m sure I’m doing this wrong way, can anyone throw me a tip please?

RichardOne,

If I understand your issue correctly, you can add a new line in a text box using shift+enter. This should allow you to format your text in the box a little better. If this is not the issue can you give more details (like the widget you are using, the type of ‘formatting’ you would like to do, etc).

Basically, I have typed a paragraph in a text widget box

However, when I try to format the text, new line etc I cannot scroll down further into the widget box to do it?

Ok, I see the issue. The textbook really wasn’t designed to edit much text and will only show as much as it is sized to. The easiest workaround, if you need to have a large amount of text in the text box that a user can edit, is to edit the text in something like notepad then copy and paste it into the widget. Depending on the software this also give you the ability to us a spell checker.
