Hi,
Is there a way to update (easily) from hibernate 3.0 to hiberante 3.1? I think I have found a bug in hibernate, and need to test.

Previously, I could go under Window->Preferences->MyEclipse->Project Capabilites->Hiberante and change the library reference for (in this case) Hibernate 3 to point to the 3.1.3 jars and not the 3.0.x jars. Will this still work without breaking myeclipse? If so, this provides a nice fallback since there is a restore defaults button.

I’m running MyEclipse 4.1.1, on eclipse 3.1.1, on linux

Randy,

It will work – we can change libraries after adding hibernate capabilities – right clik on project and choose preferences – add your libraries in Build Path

You can care about incompatibility between hibernate 3.1 and 3.0 (there are some types incompatibilities)

What is potential bug ?
