Occasionally when opening a JSP, the working dialog sits on “Creating preview page” for quite a few seconds and the flood bar repeats a number of times. This is especially annoying as i NEVER use the preview feature so why should i wait for the preview page?

please move the preview page rendering or whatever is slowing load time down so that it only occurs when a user clicks on the preview tab.

This is used to create the preview of the page in the Design tab, if yuo are not using the visual designer and just want to make use of the source editor, you can change the *.jsp associate to the “MyEclipse ‘Classic’ JSP Editor” by going to Window > Preferences > General > Editors > File Associations
