Hi,

When I make changes to .java files those are not recompile automatically.i have set build automatically also.every time i made changes to the .java files i’m restarting my server.it is taking long time.

Is there anything in particular I need to do to get the java classes to recompile on change?

help me..if it is done it saves more time for me..

Raghavendra,

Can you please make sure that you are starting the server in debug mode ? If you are using the Servers view to launch server and are selecting “Run server”, you need to stop it and select “Debug server”, the server has to be running in Debug mode.

If you are still seeing issues, please share your MyEclipse installation details from MyEclipse > Installation summary > Installation details. Also mention the server name and version in which you are working.

Let us know how it works for you.

Can you please clarify whether the .java files are recompiled automatically after running the Jboss server in debug mode (Right click on the JBoss server in the servers view and select ‘Debug server’) ? Also make sure Project > Build automatically is switched on.

Raghavendra,

For hot deployment to work the server has to be run in debug mode only. I suggest you cross post on Jboss forums for any Jboss specific settings.
