mongonvParticipantEntering a value in the preferences filter box does not filter the list in anyway. For example, enter “profile” and nothing happens. In ME 10, that would instantly filter the list. Pressing enter or any other key does not seem to make it work.
support-pradeepMembermongonv,
Sorry that you are seeing this issue. We could not replicate the issue at our end.
1) Can you please switch to a new workspace and check if you can replicate the issue in the new workspace ?
2) Can you please share your OS version and details ?
3) Did you install any third party plugins in MyEclipse ?
4) Can you please try opening MyEclipse using the -clean command ? Please refer this FAQ for more details – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/
5) clear the contents of .log file located at <%workspace dir%>/.metadata/.log file, replicate the issue and attach the log file here to help us investigate further.
mongonvParticipantAfter doing a full reinstall with the latest full download it seems to be working.
I was running on Win7 64 bit and had done a 32 bit install to be able to use the features that are stated as not included in the 64 bit install (javascript debugging and REST explorer.)
But seems that the 32 bit version under 64 bit OS is rather quirky at best and will have to find an alternate solution to those two missing features.
support-swapnaModeratormongonv,
I have a 32 bit version of MyEclipse installed on Windows 64 bit and I do not see the issue with Preferences filter. It might be an issue with your workspace. Did you try with a new workspace before the full reinstall of MyEclipse ?
The dev team is aware of the two limitations with the 64 bit install of MyEclipse.Since it requires a different framework for the implementation, the team is working on it.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Let us know if you see any issues.
