Great to see release of Blue 6.5. Are there plans for an OSX release and if so when?

    Thanks

Websphere does not support OS X. We don’t have any plans in the near future but can you give us more information on how you would like to use Blue on OS X. Thanks.

You are correct websphere does not support OSX. However I can run Eclipse/MyEclipseIDE on OSX which is my preferred development environment and connect remotely to a websphere server for deployment. At least that is what I had hoped for. I am assuming other tools (Swing, webservice client etc) would all run in OSX, is that true?

Matisse is not supported on OS X yet. You can review the feature list here:-

Thanks for your interest and comments. We are planning on “remote” WebSphere support in a future release. At that time we will re-evaluate the Blue support for OS-X as running WebSphere locally would no longer be required as it is with current versions of MyEclipse Blue.
