Martin_KerstenMemberHi there,
I am just evaluating MyEclipse and done the little HelloWorld tutorial. It felt nice but it was a bit short. So I searched the myeclipseide.com site and found an article. Nice nice but no EJB. Ok I know the Task-> Create EJB within HelpContext, but its not an easy to go tutorial after all… .
I ‘ve done the JBoss IDE Tutorial which explains much of the xdoclet stuff. I also done a lomboz tutorial at: http://www.tusc.com.au/tutorial/html/index.html.
But for myEclipse I couldn’t find something similar. So I would like to know if I missed something. I just would like to be guided through the development of a kind of a pet store or some.
If there isn’t any tutorial of such kind I would like to ask if someone would like to create one. I would provide comments and ideas for sure.
Thanks
Martin_KerstenMemberSorry I notice that I missed the first r in Larger Tutorial. I dont know how I can correct such a misstake. I hope scott will take care … 😉

That was a mistake? I was all excited thinking we were going to talk about beer! 😉
I think you’ve exhausted all the currently available tutorials for MyEclipse. And, you’re right that a larger one would be very nice indeed. It’s on our “to do” list, but somehow has slipped behind bug fixes and new features in priority. We definately need a larger tutorial and some additional examples to play with. There’s a large selection of freely available J2EE examples here: http://apl.jhu.edu/~jcstaff/. Jim is teaching a college course with MyEclipse, but I don’t know if he’s updated his examples for it yet. It’s worth looking into though. Please let us know if it is helpful.
