Q1. What’s new with @Genuitec_SDC? Any new releases to update on?
A1. The most recent update is a new Popular Pack bundling top software for developers
A1. The latest Pack has 14 New Software entries, 30 Updated Software entries from previous versions
A1. This includes updates to software like #Egit #Subclipse & #Maven ready to deliver behind the firewall

Q2. If I deliver updates to my team, how can I notify my users of important changes for them?
A2. You can create notifications in the Admin Console for your Hub
A2. In your package there is a Notifications tab where you can send your users either text or images

Q3. How does @Genuitec_SDC fit in or help our development process?
A3. @Genuitec_SDC helps you to setup a uniform #development environment
A3. reducing configuration time for #developers and having all tools together at once

Q4. How can @Genuitec_SDC be used to prevent #developers to install unapproved #software?
A4. @Genuitec_SDC provides security policies allowing admins to decide levels of lockdown
A4. Certain teams can have great flexibility while others are tightly controlled
A4. #Software catalog management can be used to provide sanctioned software from a private hub

Q5. Can @Genuitec_SDC facilitate my users asking for help on their tooling environment?
A5. Absolutely! @Genuitec_SDC lets you automate uploading environment information.
A5. You enable the Assistance Requests for your packages as part of the Security Policy
A5. Assistance Request prompts your users for a description and gathers troubleshooting info automatically.

Q6. Is @Genuitec_SDC only for helping with #Eclipse IDEs for users?
A6. Absolutely not – we have support for key other tools for developers
A6. @JetBrains users can use @Genuitec_SDC to manage @IntelliJ behind the firewall
A6. And #EclipseRCP products can build installers and deliver their packages for win-lnx-mac architectures

Q7. In my company #LDAP is used to manage credentials. Can @Genuitec_SDC integrate with it?
A7. Yes, you can add Server extensions to @Genuitec_SDC and one of those is external authentication.
